DUSUSU Foundation Empowers Youth Through Film Making Workshops in Celebration of International Day of the Girl Child
The DUSUSU Foundation has been actively engaged in a series of impactful projects throughout the African continent in the week leading up to International Day of the Girl Child. As part of their commitment to fostering creativity and self-expression among young individuals, one of the highlighted initiatives carried out by the foundation was a successful film making workshop held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Under the dynamic leadership of co-founder Zuriel Oduwole, the DUSUSU Foundation facilitated a transformative film making workshop that brought together talented and aspiring students who were generously sponsored by the Lagos Continental Hotel. Participants were given a unique platform to not only explore their artistic abilities but also to learn the intricacies of the film industry from industry professionals who graciously shared their invaluable expertise.
While in Lagos, Zuriel Oduwole had the opportunity to engage and inspire young minds at the esteemed Lekki British School. During her visit, Zuriel passionately emphasized the importance of dreams and how they can positively impact our communities and countries. By sharing her personal journey and visionary aspirations, she motivated students to dream big and strive towards making a tangible difference in their societies.
The DUSUSU Foundation firmly believes that encouraging creativity and empowering youth is a vital step towards achieving gender equality and sustainable development. Through projects such as film making workshops and meaningful interactions with students, the organization aims to foster a supportive environment in which girls can embrace their potential, envision prosperous futures, and become catalysts for change.
As the world celebrates International Day of the Girl Child on today, the DUSUSU Foundation remains committed to advancing the rights and aspirations of girls across the globe. With their unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts, they continue to pave the way for a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
